This is a painting that I created at the time of the Pulse Nightclub massacre in Florida back in 2016. It is an incident that still resonates with me today due to the division we face in the United States. We are a people that ultimately want the same things in life, but are divided by the “echo chambers” that were created to sow discord to maintain power. Ideologies are tools for the powerful to rule over the vulnerable. We need to love and protect one another from those that wish to destroy us. That is what this painting is all about…
