New! Online mentorship program

i am partnering with mastrius mentorshipS IN PROVIDING AN ONLINE MENTORSHIP GROUP PROGRAM TO ASPIRING ARTISTS ON THIRD THURSDAYS EVERY MONTH AT 3PM (pst)

This mentorship group will focus on improving technical skills and the ability to develop non-representational art. We will learn about defining the energy levels of the different styles of abstraction, how to pace yourself through the creative process, and how to recognize the different stages in the development of a painting. The group will discuss and demonstrate the usage of materials and tools used in creating a painting. We will discuss the different ways an artist resolves problems in their artwork and how to cope when in a creative rut.

I believe in the personal growth and development of an artist and the need to satisfy one's curiosity. In this group, I want to understand each artist's goals and where they feel challenges exist in their practice. As artists make the leap into selling and exhibiting their work, a lot are challenged with how to market and price their work, managing their time to be more effective, and how to utilize social media to their advantage. I will encourage discussion on these topics of professional development during our monthly meetings as I think it is necessary in establishing and committing to one's artistic goals.

I offer Artist Support Services for those busy creatives that need some guidance on how to manage or develop the "business" side of their art careers or are struggling a bit with their art practice and would like some exposure to different approaches and techniques to enhance their skills. Personal one-on-one mentoring is available to you in my studio OR by video. Website design, marketing and social media support and art instruction are some of the services I offer...and at reasonable prices!
